Why A Co-Op?
We are currently a food buying club in the process of becoming a formal co-op. A co-op is a business owned and democratically controlled by people who use its services. Benefits are distributed equitably based on use, following agreed upon by-laws.
Cooperative Principles and Practices:
- Member-owned
- Member-driven
- Member-operated
- One member = One vote
- Promotes education
- Concern for community
Priceless Valley Co-op Membership Benefits
- You’re part of starting and building our community business!
- You experience community!
- You support our local economy and our farmers!
- Your money stays local!
- We join forces to purchase bulk, lowering prices!
Though the Leadership Committee are currently doing the formal voting, all buying club members are encouraged to participate in every stage of our operation. Talk to us during pickup, attend our quarterly General Membership Meetings, volunteer and join any of our committees, respond to our online surveys, or email us with your suggestions or concerns.
