The beauty of a co-op, or a buying club as we are now, is that it is OUR business. No corporate headquarters in an undisclosed location, or customer service center in Arizona or India. We’re literally your neighbors, volunteering and working with you.
Working WITH you is cool. In this volunteer model, working FOR you is not sustainable… nor fair. This is why we require a mandatory volunteer component.
Because it is OUR buying club, the Leadership Group and our Committee Chairs REALLY want to hear from you. Perhaps we’re not offering a product you really like. Perhaps you don’t like something we’re doing. Or perhaps you just want to tell us what a great job we’re doing.
Participate! Plan to attend our biannual General Membership meetings (counts for volunteer hours!), and respond to our online surveys. Place an order every so often. Sign up on Signup Genius to volunteer, even if you only have a few hours here and there. Come to our educational activities and to our social events. Share our brochure (PDF, 326 KB, opens in a separate tab) with a friend.
